Prosciutto Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers

Football season is underway, and although I would not like to revisit the results of today’s Patriots game, there is something else I don’t mind sharing with you.
But really, while most foods come with a wine suggestion, I believe these poppers pair well with football. Do you see the clicker lingering in the background of that picture above? I tell no lie.
No matter who you root for, you must listen to me closely: you must stress eat these like the touch down depends on it.
Plop these into your mouth & scream at the television. (Not at the same time though, I don’t see that working out well.) Ultimately though, these taste best when Tom Brady’s front and center. And winning.
prosciutto wrapped jalapeño poppers
makes about 20-25 jalapeño poppers
your favorite cream cheese
1/4 lb of prosciutto thinly sliced
10-15 jalapeños
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Chop the jalapeños length wise. Hollow out the inside membrane (seeds and all) with a spoon. Keep some seeds if you like it spicy!
Put these jalapeño halves cut side up on the lined baking sheet. Spoon cream cheese into the halves.
Wrap prosciutto once or twice around the jalapeño.
Bake for 20-25 minutes. Let cool. Pop ‘em in your mouth!

They’re so pretty! Such a great combo of colors.
